Dear treasured readers,
It appears the universe has conspired to literally cut me off from distractions: my phone, though fully charged and seemingly healthy, has decided to shut itself off at random—like a fainting goat startled by a plot twist it didn’t see coming.
As such, I find myself stranded in a world without scrolling, reels, or rabbit holes. My only companion now? My Work In Progress manuscript, which has been patiently waiting while I “just check one more thing” on my phone.
Yes, friends—I have no choice but to write.
🖋️ Characters will be developed.
📖 Plot holes shall be filled.
📚 Entire fictional worlds may be edited, out of sheer desperation for stimulation.
In the meantime, if you need to reach me, please ready your homing pigeons:
🕊️ Feathered, fashionable (capes encouraged), and well-fed.
🏡 Equipped with cozy landing zones.
📜 Carrying miniature scrolls, possibly with dramatic monologues written in fountain pen ink.
P.S. For matters too urgent to wait for pigeon post (or a plot climax), I am still accessible via Facebook until my new phone arrives. Or until I finish this chapter. Whichever comes first. 💌📘
With quill in hand and no notifications in sight,
Catherine Croft
