Its funny how story ideas come in so many different ways. My first spark for this project was actually an idea about a child who was turned into a crow. The more I worked on the story the more the world around it grew and if felt like a novella for something more.
I started drafting ideas, just notes and pictures that came to mind. Before I knew it I had outlined two series with a total of 9 story ideas!! This is a very ambitious project seeing that I’ve never done anything like this before. I almost wrote it off but the story kept playing out in my head, refusing to leave.
And so I’ve started with the first series, it has 3 books in total. I consider it a re-imagining of King Arthur and the knights of the round table. In some ways this feels like it makes my task easier and in other ways it feels much harder. This story has been told and retold so many times, it’s a recognizable tale and there is no way to please everyone with my interpretation so I’m not going to. I’m writing it for me, if it ever gets finished then I’ll happily share it with the world.
Here is a quick run down of the books I have planned for series 1.
Book 1:
Kingdom of Dreams

Enchantress, outcast, and suspected spy for Mordred’s armies. Morgan is on the run and desperate to save her brother and prove her innocence. Morgan must use all of her skills and smarts to protect the only person who has ever believed in her. Will she be enough to prevent the fall of Camelot?
Urien, trusted knight of King Arthur’s round table. When faced with a new confidential assignment can he ignore the whispers and rumors of a deadly plot to assassinate his king or will he be forced to take matters into his own hands.
Book 3:
Night of Whispers
Reunited with his King at the round table, Lancelot is the only knight Arthur trusts to deliver the Queen safely to Avalon when a kidnapping plot was discovered. Lancelot never thought he would be faced with the challenge to choose between love and loyalty.
Assisting to foil the plans when Mordred attempt to kidnap the Queen should have been duty enough. But now Dindraine must play the part of royalty to ensure Camelot does not fall.
